Shelly Lombard
Shelly Lombard has served as director and chair of the board’s audit committee since February 2024. Ms. Lombard has over 35 years of experience in finance on Wall Street, analyzing and investing in public equities and bonds, and is a financial expert with expertise in financial statement review, corporate balance sheet management and capital allocation, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. Ms. Lombard serves on the board, and is a member of the audit committee, of publicly traded Craft 1861 Global Holdings, Inc. She previously served on the boards of several other public companies, including Bed Bath and Beyond; INNOVATE Corp; Spartacus Acquisition Corp; and Alaska Communications. From 2014 to 2024, Ms. Lombard was a consultant, analyzing investment opportunities for a family office. Before that, she was the director of research for a boutique investment bank and a high yield bond analyst for a subscription research firm whose clients included institutional investors, mutual funds, and hedge funds. Previous to those roles, she analyzed, invested in, and managed proprietary investments for ING Bank, Barclays Bank, Credit Lyonnais, and Chase Manhattan Bank, where she helped launch the bank debt trading desk. She began her career in the leveraged finance group at Citibank and in the high yield commercial paper group at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Ms. Lombard holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications and government from Simmons University as well as a master of business administration degree in finance from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
